Job summary

The Adecco Group in Ireland is seeking an experienced Architect to shape the architectural roadmap for our EMEA Regulatory Reporting Technology platform on a fixed-term contract. You will lead design discussions across teams and drive secure, scalable solutions aligned with business goals.

You will mentor engineers, perform design reviews, and ensure compliance with non-functional requirements while balancing delivery speed.

Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their EMEA Regulatory Reporting Technology team on a fixed-term contract basis. What You’ll Do:

As an Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the architectural roadmap and collaborating across teams to create robust solution designs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the architecture roadmap and evolving designs based on feedback.
• Providing technical thought leadership, leveraging your experience in building software solutions.
• Developing best practises for design and technology implementation.
• Facilitating solution-driven discussions and leading creative design efforts.
• Supporting development teams in system design and overcoming architectural challenges.
• Performing design and code reviews to ensure compliance with non-functional requirements (security, performance, maintainability, etc.).
• Guiding the Engineering team in selecting the right technology stack.
• Educating team members on technology practises and standardisation strategies.
• Building strong relationships between business goals and technology strategies.
• Identifying potential risks and defining controls to mitigate them.

What We’re Looking For:

We want someone with a proven track record in solution architecture and design across various technologies. Here’s what you’ll need:

• Expertise in key technologies: Oracle PL/SQL, Angular, Java, Spring.
• Solid understanding of Big Data technologies, particularly Hadoop.
• Experience with data technologies, metadata, and data lineage concepts.
• Familiarity with interfacing with third-party vendor platforms.
• Exposure to Cloud technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues.
• Ability to create reusable components to enhance enterprise efficiency.
• Leadership qualities to guide technical teams through implementation.
• Excellent communication skills to foster strong relationships with business and technology partners.
• Experience within a large organisation or financial services company is a plus!
