Job summary

State Street Global Technology Services seeks an experienced Business Technology Risk Advisor – Vice President to identify, assess, and mitigate technology risk. You will lead risk strategies, collaborate with CIOs, and oversee remediation across the SDLC, cloud, and data domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Security, Risk Management, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in risk management, auditing standards, and best practices, with at least 5 years in leadership or advisory capacity.
• Experience working with technology risk frameworks and regulatory controls.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of process enhancements aligned with business objectives.
• Own regulatory remediations within the area supported; assist SMEs with closure documents and approach to closure.
• Plan and execute projects aimed at risk reduction.
• Apply re-engineering techniques to improve process efficiency, product quality, and data governance.
• Collaborate on metrics development and use data to drive performance improvements.
• Partner with second and third lines of defence to ensure alignment with risk management and control goals.
• Implement and oversee data management and governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
