Job summary

Focus Ireland in Dublin seeks a proactive leader to head the Off Site Housing case management team. You will support, manage and develop the team, ensuring adherence to policies and best practices.

Contract: Full Time, Specific PurposeThe purpose of this role is to lead the team in the case management of Off Site Housing, and to assist with the support, management, and development of the supports provided.

Location: DublinContract: Full Time, Specific PurposeThe purpose of this role is to lead the team in the case management of Off Site Housing, and to assist with the support, management, and development of the supports provided.

What You Will Do
  • Using a trauma informed lens, provide effective daily leadership to the support team
  • Engage in supervision sessions on a regular basis with the Project Leader
  • Participate in relevant training and development courses as agreed with your Project Leader
  • Be vigilant to any Health, Safety and Welfare risks in the workplace
  • Attend and participate in weekly management and team meetings
  • Provide effective and creative leadership, support, guidance and supervision to staff members
  • Assist the Project Leader to maintain, develop and support team performance, morale and motivation in line with all policies and procedures; ensure staff carry out their professional duties to standards of best practice
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reports and other relevant statistics to a high standard for the Project Leader; ensure records and recording systems are maintained in accordance with legislation and Focus Ireland policies
  • Cultivate and sustain high quality relationships with external agencies and other relevant Focus Ireland services as part of multi-disciplinary teamwork
  • Undertake any other responsibilities and duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Project Leader, Manager, or Director of Services
  • Ensure successful implementation of housing policies and procedures in collaboration with the Project Leader and Services Manager
  • Ensure Key Performance Indicators are met in line with Service Level Agreements
  • Facilitate Service Evaluations and reviews in conjunction with the Project Leader
What You Will Need
  • A Third Level qualification at degree level in the area of social care i.e. youth work, social studies, addiction, psychology, etc and/or be a CORU registered Social Care Worker
  • Experience of holding a leadership role
  • Experience of service planning and development
  • Experience of needs assessment, effective support planning and case management models
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • A high level of computer literacy
