Job summary

TTM Healthcare Limited is seeking a Team Leader for a disability service in Midleton, Co. Cork. You will lead a team of Support Workers, provide supervision, coaching and staff development, and ensure person-centred, rights-based support to service users.

You will ensure HIQA compliance, participate in quality assurance, manage rostering, payroll, recruitment and inductions, and help service users achieve personal goals and community involvement.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Qualification in Healthcare Support is required.
• Leadership experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication and ability to work as part of a team are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Support Workers, providing supervision, mentoring, coaching and staff development.
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred, rights-based support, promoting independence, wellbeing and community inclusion.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, safeguarding requirements, risk management procedures and quality audits.
• Support day-to-day operations including rostering, payroll, recruitment and inductions.
• Develop, implement and review Person-Centred Plans to help service users achieve goals and participate in their communities.

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 Qualification in Healthcare Support
• Experience in a leadership capacity is desirable
• 3 years' experience in a Health or Social Care Setting as a Care Assistant / Support Worker
• Strong working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
• Excellent communication, dedication and ability to work as part of a team
