Job summary

Corlann West Region seeks a Team Leader (CNM1/Social Care Leader) to drive day-to-day service delivery in Ballybane, Co Galway. You will lead and supervise teams, ensuring person-centred planning and high-quality support for adults with intellectual disabilities.

The role requires a relevant nursing or social care qualification, CORU/NMBI registration, and a strong commitment to community integration and rights-based practice.

Qualifications

• A relevant 3rd level qualification in Nursing or Health and Social Care.
• Live Register Certificate from NMBI or CORU registration.
• QQI Level 6 in Health and Social Care Management preferred.
• Min. three years post-qualification experience with intellectual disability.
• Experience in autism and challenging behaviours is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Manager with day-to-day service management.
• Provide leadership and supervision to teams and ensure best practice.
• Coordinate person-centred planning, rosters and staff development.
• Promote dignity, rights-based care and community integration.
• Support independence and active citizenship for people supported.
