Job summary

Autism A Chara in Bray, Co. Wicklow, is seeking a Team Leader for a 15-hour-per-week role in our Day Service. The position focuses on leading a small team, implementing care plans, and supporting adults with autism to live more independently.

Essential criteria include a full degree in Social Care/Studies or related field, two years of management experience, and a valid Irish driving licence. Permission to work in Ireland is required.

• Two years management experience overseeing a team.
• Experience implementing and developing support/care plans (PCP).
• Valid full Irish driving licence (manual) and ability to drive service vehicles.
• Permission to work in Ireland is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to adults with autism in day services.
• Support individuals to live independently and engage in the community.
• Assist with daily living activities and routines.
• Tailor supports to individual needs and rights, promoting choice.
• Work with families and carers to deliver person-centered plans.

Essential criteria for the position of Team Leader:

• A full Degree in Social Care/ Studies Or Relevant 3rd Level Qualification at degree level i.e.; Social Work, Psychology is essential
• Two years Management experience with responsibility for a team of employees
• Proven experience in the implementation and development of support/care plans and PCP’s
• Full, clean Irish driving licence (manual) essential with requirement to drive service vehicles
• Permission to work in Ireland essential
