Autism A Chara invites applications for a Facilitator to provide person-centred support to adults with complex needs across residential, respite, day services in Ireland. The role is 25 hours per week with a rota-based schedule.
A full QQI Level 5 in Health Care is essential, and a valid Irish driving licence is desirable to support service transport. Fluent English, excellent communication, and the ability to work on your own initiative are key.
We initially opened our doors in 2005 as part of a strategic partnership with Autism Initiatives UK. Recently we have decided to make the significant change to operate as a solely run, Irish charity independent of the UK. Although this partnership has come to an end, we are delighted with what we have achieved so far and we are very excited at what the future holds for Autism A Chara.We will continue to provide specialist autism services for adults across our Residential, Respite, Day, and Com
