Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is seeking a Manager-level tax professional to join a growing Irish practice in Dublin. You’ll work directly with a Partner, advising entrepreneurs, family businesses and shareholders across the full business lifecycle.

This is a hands-on advisory role, not a pure compliance position, with early responsibility, client exposure and a clear path forward in a growing firm offering flexible working and a strong culture. The salary band is €75,000-€85,000.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified with post-qualification experience in practice.
• Solid grounding in corporate tax, income tax and capital taxes.
• Comfortable dealing directly with clients, not just internally.
• Commercially curious with interest in privately owned businesses.
• Proactive, takes ownership and drives outcomes.

A growing tax team at a well-regarded Irish practice is looking for a Manager who wants more than an inbox full of compliance work. If you're a newly qualified CTA with a couple of years under your belt and you're hungry for real advisory exposure, this one's worth a look.

The Role

You’ll work directly with a Partner, advising Irish entrepreneurs, family businesses and their shareholders across the full business lifecycle — the kind of clients who actually need your advice and appreciate it.

• Business structures, reorganisations and group planning
• Income tax, corporation tax and capital taxes — the full suite
• Succession planning, exits and shareholder issues
• Leading advisory projects from initial brief through to implementation
• Supporting transactions — buy/sells, management buy-outs and restructurings
• Mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development

This isn’t a "sit behind the Partner and take notes" role. You’ll be in the room, presenting advice, owning relationships, and developing real commercial instincts early.

What We're Looking For

• CTA qualified with 2+ years post-qualification experience in practice
• Solid grounding in corporate tax, income tax and capital taxes
• Comfortable dealing directly with clients, not just internally
• Commercially curious — genuinely interested in how privately owned businesses tick
