Promptly Recruitment in Dublin is assisting an established Irish tax practice to hire Tax Managers to cover compliance, consultancy and advisory work for domestic and international clients. The role is shapeable to the candidate, with potential breadth into all tax heads or a compliance focus.

The client base includes technology, med-tech, manufacturing, renewables, property and hospitality, with a private client book and investment tax planning.

Qualifications

• CTA is required for this role.
• Currently operating at Manager or Assistant Manager level.
• Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience in a tax practice.
• Breadth across compliance and consultancy work.
• Track record of running a high-performing team.
• Confident communicator, comfortable with senior clients.
• Prior experience in a Top 10 firm or with consultancy-heavy briefs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to shape service delivery across a varied client portfolio
• Own a portfolio and lead the day-to-day tax advice and service those clients receive
• Take on consultancy assignments across the full range of tax heads
• Advise on business structuring, M&A, cross-border expansion, financing, and tax audits
• Support clients through succession and retirement planning
• Manage and develop a tax team
• Contribute to internal training and business development activity
