Job summary

Verde Search is seeking a Tax Assistant Manager for a fast-growing Irish tax firm. The role offers a pathway to Manager in 9-12 months, with the opportunity to work on varied advisory tasks for private clients.

Located in central Dublin, this position allows for hybrid working, and offers a competitive salary of €62k–€72k base plus bonus. Ideal candidates will be CTA qualified and interested in a broad range of tax advisory work.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified with ACA / ACCA qualification.
• Newly qualified up to 3 years tax PQE, ideally from a Top 10 or Big 4 firm.
• Genuine interest in advisory work across multiple tax heads.

Responsibilities

• Cover the full private-client remit including Income Tax, CGT, and estate planning.
• Run assignments end-to-end including planning and drafting advisory memos.
• Work directly with Tax Partners on interesting private clients.

Verde Search are partnering with a fast growing Irish tax and advisory firm on a newly-strengthened Private Client team in central Dublin — one of the strongest seats in the market for a recently-qualified CTA who wants genuinely varied advisory work and real visibility to Partner.

You will start off as Tax Assistant Manager and move to Manager at a pace that suits you and your ability (expectation would be circa 9–12 months).

Responsibilities

• Cover the full private-client remit – Income Tax, CGT, CAT, estate planning, entering & leaving Ireland, investment tax, Revenue enquiries
• Run your own assignments end-to-end – planning, drafting advisory memos with a clear rationale, briefing juniors, and presenting finished work to Partners
• Work directly with the Tax Partners and Directors on some of Ireland's most interesting private clients – successful business owners, families, and professional practices

Qualifications

• is CTA qualified with ACA / ACCA qualification
• newly qualified up to 3 years tax PQE, ideally from a Top 10 or Top 20 firm – or a Big 4 Assistant Manager who wants a broader client book and a faster Partner pathway
• is genuinely interested in advisory work across multiple tax heads rather than narrow specialism
• is ready to lead juniors on assignments and is motivated to move to Manager within a year
