Job summary

Amicus Search & Recruitment presents an opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager / Income Tax Lead at a North Leinster Chartered Accountancy practice. You will lead the personal tax function, overseeing compliance, returns and advisory for high-net-worth individuals, directors and business owners.

You will manage a diverse client portfolio, handle Revenue interactions, mentor staff and ensure filing deadlines and billing targets are met, while supporting cross-selling and new client proposals

Qualifications

• Qualified Tax Consultant with strong personal tax experience.
• Proven track record in managing personal tax compliance and advisory.
• Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation.
• Excellent client-facing and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the firm’s personal tax function, overseeing compliance and advisory.
• Deliver tax planning across Irish tax heads including remuneration strategies and corporate restructuring.
• Manage a diverse client portfolio and Revenue interactions.

An established, multi-partner Chartered Accountancy practice located in North Leinster is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead their tax function. Key Responsibilities

• Income Tax Leadership: Lead and manage the firm’s personal tax function, overseeing compliance, returns, and advisory for high-net-worth individuals, directors, and business owners.
• Tax Advisory & Planning: Deliver practical advice across all Irish tax heads, focusing on remuneration strategies, succession planning, residency, and corporate restructuring.
• Portfolio Management: Manage a diverse client portfolio, serving as the primary contact, handling Revenue interactions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Team Leadership & Workflow: Manage workflow, review work from junior team members, mentor staff, and ensure filing deadlines and billing targets are met.
• Business Development: Identify cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts and support new client proposals to drive firm growth.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Tax Consultant (CTA / ITI) or Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA) with strong tax experience.
• Proven track record in managing personal tax compliance and advisory.
• Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax legislation.
• Excellent client-facing, communication, and team management skills.
