Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Kilkenny to manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple regions. The role is fully onsite with travel to regional offices in Ireland, requiring a clean driver’s license.

You will partner with hiring managers, source candidates, screen, coordinate interviews, and manage offers while delivering a professional candidate experience. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in recruitment, a relevant degree, and ideally CIPD qualification.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Degree in Business, HR, or related discipline.
• CIPD qualification preferred.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sourcing capabilities, especially LinkedIn and direct methods.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple roles.
• Detail-oriented and solutions-focused.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple roles and regions.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and recruitment strategies.
• Create and administer competency assessments tests.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, various job boards, referrals and direct search.
• Screen and assess candidates against role/project requirements.
• Coordinate and support interview processes.
• Manage offers, approvals, and candidate communications.
• Deliver regular updates on recruitment activities and pipeline progress.
• Deliver a professional and efficient candidate experience at all stages.
• Support career events, graduate engagement, and recruitment campaigns.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding processes.
• Manage agency relationships.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and efficiencies.

Our client is a construction company based in Co. Kilkenny. They are currently looking to bring on a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist on a permanent basis. This role would be fully onsite with travel to regional offices across Ireland as needed. Therefore, a clean and valid driver’s license would be required.
