Job summary

ESB is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support high-volume recruitment within the TA Centre of Excellence. The role involves advertising vacancies, candidate screening, coordination of communications, interview scheduling, and data reporting.

The successful candidate will work in Dublin, with Smart Working/hybrid arrangements requiring in-person collaboration at least two days per week, and will engage with HR partners, SharePoint and SAP systems, and graduate events.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ work experience within a recruitment or talent acquisition function.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the advertising of vacancies in line with the Strategic Resource Plan and approval systems, working closely with HR Business Partners and Governance Specialists.
  • Assist with screening candidate applications in line with role requirements, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Coordinate and manage all candidate communications, interview scheduling, and support line managers and candidates throughout internal and external recruitment processes.
  • Maintain and update internal trackers and collate data to produce regular reports, including monthly recruitment metrics and KPIs.
  • Support the maintenance of the TA shared mailbox and TA SharePoint site, respond to GDPR queries, and ensure ongoing compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Assist with Early Talent recruitment when required, including attending careers fairs and assisting with coordinating graduate events.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives with TA Team Leaders, stay updated on recruitment market trends and employment legislation, and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change.

Position Description

We are looking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to meet the growing demands of the business. This role sits within the Talent Acquisition (TA) Centre of Excellence which supports the business in high volume recruitment activities and plays a key role in ESB reaching its ambitious strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will be provided with the support and development needed to enable them to deliver successfully in the role.

Key Responsibilities

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ work experience within a recruitment or talent acquisition function.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and flexibly within a team.
  • SharePoint and SAP knowledge.
  • Experience using social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, for recruitment purposes.
  • Knowledge of work permit requirements and processes.
Location

This position will be based in 27 Fitzwilliam Street Lower, Dublin 2.

Smart Working at ESB is designed to make 'in-person' time together as purposeful as possible while also enabling the effective use of digital tools and hybrid arrangements to preserve our commitment to flexibility. The successful candidate may work flexibly within the jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week. All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business.
