Job summary

Jones Engineering, a leading engineering services company, is seeking a Transmission and Distribution Civil Project Manager in Meath. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering civil works for renewable energy projects, including wind and solar deployments, with on-site involvement at 38kV–220kV substations and BESS installations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• Experience delivering renewable energy projects with on-site involvement in medium-voltage works.
• Solid communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, control and deliver projects within cost, timescale and quality targets.
• Lead project teams including labour and subcontractors for civil scope.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Foster a strong safety culture and develop project team capability.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Manage client expectations and promote value on the project.
• Coordinate external consultants and report to the project management team.
• Resolve technical challenges during construction with timely solutions.
• Deliver projects from pre-construction to handover on time and budget.
