Job summary

Ryanair is recruiting a Technical Services Systems Engineer to join Europe’s largest airline group, based in our Engineering Office in Dublin. This desk-based role supports the Technical Services Systems Manager with engineering reviews, reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities include review of SBs/ADs, engineering orders, design modifications, and liaison with manufacturers. Strong EASA Part-M/Part CAMO knowledge and AMOS proficiency are important.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or B-1/B-2/CAT A license.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a CAMO or P-145 maintenance role.
  • Good technical knowledge of the B737NG, A320 and B737-8200 aircraft.
  • Understanding of EASA Part-M, Part CAMO and part 145 regulation.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives in detail.
  • Create and issue Engineering Orders.
  • Review and incorporate design modifications on Ryanair fleet.
  • Liaise with Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier and equipment manufacturers on issues.
  • Generate and edit operator documents (MEL; Tech Notices; Procedures Notices).
  • Troubleshoot technical defects per maintenance data.
  • Coordinate with maintenance control and internal engineering to support AOG recovery.
  • Support aircraft lease returns relating to systems issues.
  • Create technical reports on incidents and major defects.

Job Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Technical Services Systems Engineer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!


This role is a desk-based role and will be based in our Engineering Office in Dublin.


Duties include:

Reporting to theTechnical Services Systems Manager, theTechnical Services Systems Engineerwill work within a dedicated team and provide support in the following areas:



  • Providing a detailed review of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives;

  • Creation and issuing of Engineering Orders;

  • Review and incorporation of design modifications on Ryanair’s fleet of aircraft;

  • Liaising with Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier and equipment manufacturers on resolution of technical issues;

  • Generation and editing of applicable operator documents (MEL; Tech Notices; Procedures Notices);

  • Review and troubleshooting of technical defects in accordance with approved maintenance data;

  • Co-ordination with maintenance control and other internal engineering sections to support AOG recovery;

  • Provide support of aircraft lease returns relating to systems issues;

  • Creation of technical reports in support of issues (e.g. Incidents; Significant Defects).


Qualifications


  • Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or B-1/B-2/CAT A license.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a CAMO or P-145 maintenance role.

  • Good technical knowledge of the B737NG, A320 and B737-8200 aircraft.

  • Understanding of EASA Part-M, Part CAMO and part 145 regulation.

  • Flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority.

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

  • Good working knowledge of AMOS would be preferable.

  • Computer literate, with working knowledge of Word and Excel.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative team.

  • Strong attention to detail in multi-tasking situations and the ability to deliver results to tight timelines.
