Job summary

Ryanair is seeking a Technical Services Systems Engineer to join our Engineering Office in Dublin. The role is desk-based and involves detailed reviews of SBs/ADs, creation of Engineering Orders, and coordinating with major manufacturers to resolve complex technical issues.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering (or CAT A license), at least 3 years in CAMO/P-145, and proven knowledge of B737NG, A320 and related regulations.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or CAT A license required.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in CAMO or P-145 maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of B737NG, A320 and B737-8200 aircraft.
  • Familiarity with EASA Part-M, Part CAMO and Part 145 regulations.
  • Ability to deliver projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Review Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives in detail.
  • Create and issue Engineering Orders.
  • Incorporate design modifications on Ryanair's fleet.
  • Coordinate with Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier and equipment manufacturers.
  • Generate operator documents (MEL; Tech Notices; Procedures Notices).
  • Troubleshoot defects per approved maintenance data.
  • Support AOG recovery with maintenance control and internal teams.
  • Assist with aircraft lease returns related to systems.

Job Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Technical Services Systems Engineerto join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!

This role is a desk-based role and will be based in our Engineering Office in Dublin.

Duties include:

Reporting to theTechnical Services Systems Manager, theTechnical Services Systems Engineerwill work within a dedicated team and provide support in the following areas:

  • Providing a detailed review of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives;
  • Creation and issuing of Engineering Orders;
  • Review and incorporation of design modifications on Ryanair’s fleet of aircraft;
  • Liaising with Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier and equipment manufacturers on resolution of technical issues;
  • Generation and editing of applicable operator documents (MEL; Tech Notices; Procedures Notices);
  • Review and troubleshooting of technical defects in accordance with approved maintenance data;
  • Co-ordination with maintenance control and other internal engineering sections to support AOG recovery;
  • Provide support of aircraft lease returns relating to systems issues;
  • Creation of technical reports in support of issues (e.g. Incidents; Significant Defects).
Qualifications
  • Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineeringor B-1/B-2/CAT A license.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a CAMO or P-145 maintenance role.
  • Good technical knowledge of the B737NG, A320 and B737-8200 aircraft.
  • Understanding of EASA Part-M, Part CAMO and part 145 regulation.
  • Flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of AMOS would be preferable.
  • Computer literate, with working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative team.
  • Strong attention to detail in multi-tasking situations and the ability to deliver results to tight timelines.
