Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking a Sustaining Engineer in Ireland to own and maintain the Busbar PLM system, ensuring production‑ready designs across the full lifecycle. You will respond to production issues, drive DFM improvements, and support NPDI in a fast‑paced, ETO environment with high complexity and variation.

The role requires 1–3+ years in product design and proficiency with 3D modeling, 2D drafting, PLM systems, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in product design.
• 1-3+ years of experience in 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturability.
• Experience using PLM systems.
• 1-3+ years of Sheet Metal and Copper Design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Busbar design Product Lifecycle Management.
• Coordinate design for manufacturability improvements across functions.
• Provide design support for production issues.
• Support supply chain constraints in design.
• Assist NPDI activities.
• Ensure ETO design quality before release.
