Job summary

Arup in Ireland is seeking Mechanical & Electrical Engineers to join our extraordinary collective across Dublin, Cork or Limerick. You will work on challenging projects that shape a better world, designing mechanical and electrical services for diverse building types while applying sustainable design principles.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, manage projects, and build strong client relationships, delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in the design of Building Services systems such as HVAC, pressure cascades, specialist gases, understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice, in Industry, Healthcare and/or Third Level Education.
• Ability to work in a BIM environment.
• Detailed knowledge of relevant industry codes of practice and standards.
• An ability to produce technical reports and commercial proposal for clients.
• A passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact on the world.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the design of mechanical and electrical services for a variety of building types.
• Use your technical expertise to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and designers to deliver some of the most complex and high-quality projects, in Ireland and overseas.
• Manage projects and deliver on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
