Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an Environmental Assurance Lead to oversee environmental strategy and compliance across nationally significant infrastructure programmes in Ireland, spanning metro, aviation, rail, water and highways. Hybrid work with site attendance as required.

You will lead planning, assessment, compliance and implementation, aligning with statutory approvals and sustainability objectives, while guiding project teams and contractors to meet robust environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in environmental management on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Irish environmental legislation and consenting processes.
• Experience with EIA and environmental management systems.
• Proven ability to lead environmental delivery across multi-disciplinary programmes.
• Experience coordinating with regulators and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental management across major infrastructure projects from inception to delivery.
• Ensure compliance with EIA, permits, licences and consent conditions.
• Develop and implement environmental strategies and management systems.
• Oversee environmental impact assessment processes and embed commitments.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement with regulators and authorities.
