Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Ireland seeks a Sustainability Coordinator to drive programs measuring and improving sustainability across client portfolios. This role sits within the Energy and Sustainability function, delivering environmental and social initiatives with ISO-aligned documentation.

You will collaborate across regions and stakeholders, manage projects, track actions, and ensure audit-ready records while supporting ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 compliant systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience analyzing information and applying standard practices to make judgments.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups and regions.
  • Solid project-management discipline, including action tracking, deliverable follow‑through, and task closure.
  • Awareness of ISO 50001 and ISO 14001; understanding of integrated sustainability management systems is highly beneficial.
  • While data‑analysis skills are helpful, the role does not require a highly technical analyst.
  • A detail‑oriented, proactive self‑starter who identifies issues and opportunities for improvement, takes ownership of their work, and operates with minimal day‑to‑day direction.
  • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of dashboard reports and presentations.
  • Identify resources needed to implement sustainability programs or projects.
  • Review and interpret sustainability data to identify opportunities for new programs and improvements to existing ones.
  • Generate variance reports from collected energy, waste, and water data to communicate performance across client sites.
  • Support sustainability goals and implement strategies and programs.
  • Propose sustainability initiatives considering cost‑effectiveness, technical feasibility, and facility integration.
  • Track sustainability indicators such as energy usage, natural resource consumption, waste generation, and recycling.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and audit‑ready documentation aligned with ISO requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders across regions to ensure program alignment and successful delivery.
  • Apply awareness of ISO 50001 and ISO 14001, and support the operation of integrated sustainability management systems.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the quality of your own work and contribute to team outcomes.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

About the Role

As a CBRE Sustainability Coordinator, you will drive the development of programs that help measure and improve sustainability performance across client portfolio. This role sits within the Energy and Sustainability function, responsible for the development and implementation of environmental and social sustainability programs for the client.

Success in this role requires strong cross‑functional stakeholder engagement and collaboration, working effectively across regions and diverse stakeholder groups. You will apply solid project‑management skills, including tracking actions, following through on deliverables, closing out tasks, and maintaining documentation that meets ISO standards and withstands audit scrutiny.
