MCMA is seeking a Support Worker to join our residential care team in Tipperary. You will support the day-to-day operations of the centre and contribute to a warm, safe, and therapeutic environment for young people, under the guidance of the Deputy Team Leader and Team Leader.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality therapeutic residential services and ensuring best-in-class care and support for service users, with salary in the €37,000–€40,000 range depending on experience.

Qualificações

• Minimum Level 5 Major Award in the care sector.
• Full Driving Licence is required.
• Experience of working with vulnerable young people and families.

Support Worker - Tipperary - Full Time

As a Support Worker, you will be an integral part of a dedicated residential care team, supporting the day-to-day operations of the centre and contributing to a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people. Working closely with the Deputy Team Leader and Team Leader, you will help create and maintain a warm, supportive, and secure setting that promotes the wellbeing, development, and positive outcomes of those in your care. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality therapeutic residential services and ensuring the highest standards of care and support are consistently maintained.

About the Company

Our client is a specialist provider of residential and community-based services for young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Through evidence-based approaches, including Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and Equine Therapy, they deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a safe and therapeutic environment, with young people and their families at the centre of all decision-making and support planning.

About the role

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Support workers with a minimum of a Level 5 Major Award qualification in the care sector.
• A full driving license.
• Experience of working with vulnerable young people and youth and families in the community or residential setting .
