Job summary

ARCS are recruiting for Support Workers to join their autism and disabilities centre in Clogheen and Bansha, Co. Tipperary. You will support young people with a therapeutic approach, working closely with the leadership team to maintain a safe, welcoming environment across varied shifts.

The role offers an attractive salary (€37,000–€40,000) with sleeping time premiums, progression opportunities, and professional development supports. A full driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 5 Major Award in care.
• Must hold a full driving licence.
• Experience of working with vulnerable young people or families in community or residential settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day care in a residential centre.
• Work with Deputy Team Leader and Team Lead to maintain a warm, secure environment.
• Contribute to delivering therapeutic residential services to young people.

Support Worker

ARCS are currently recruiting for Full Time, Part Time & Relief Support Workers for their Autism and Disabilities centre based in Clogheen, & Bansha, Co. Tipperary.

Who we are -

As a Support Worker and working as part of a team you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the residential centre and work in close collaboration with the Deputy Team Leader and Team Lead in creating and maintaining a warm, accepting and secure environment for the young people in your care and will play a key role in the delivery of the highest standard of therapeutic residential services.

What we can offer you:

• Attractive starting salary package for our Full time Support Workers of €37,000 - €40,000 annually (depending on experience)

• inclusive of sleeping time and premiums.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Support workers require a minimum of a Level 5 Major Award qualification in the care sector.

• A full driving license

• Experience of working with vulnerable young people and youth and families in the community or residential setting
