Enable Ireland is seeking a Respite Support Worker to join CHO8 Children Services in County Meath. The role is a 12 month fixed term contract with 23.4 hours per week (0.60 WTE) and a pro rata salary of €35,070–€42,440.
The successful candidate will work with children and young people using a person-centred approach, including afterschool and weekend respite. A driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland are required.

Contract Type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Contract Hours: 23.4 hours per week (0.60 WTE).
Salary Scale: €35,070 - €42,440 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments).
This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.
Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days pro rata per annum.
To work as a member of the team providing respite services in County Meath. To work with the children /young people through a person-centred approach to meet their identified needs while attending afterschool / weekend respite.
This post will involve week day/ after school hours and weekend work.
