Job summary

Corlann is seeking a Part-Time Support Worker for Curlew Adult Services in Boyle. The role focuses on assisting people with daily living, promoting independence and personal outcomes within residential, respite or community settings. A panel may be formed for future appointments.

Salary scales align with Department of Health pay bands (€34,881–€47,624 pro-rata); long service increments apply after 3 years. Informal enquiries to the Curlew Services Area Manager are welcome.

Qualifications

• Qualification in intellectual disability or QQI Level 5 desirable.
• Full clean manual driving licence essential; Class D1 may be required.
• Experience with intellectual disability/autism/complex needs desirable; training provided.
• Fluency in English and IT skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Support people in daily living, promoting independence and skill development.
• Assist with personal care, meals, and household tasks.
• Support integration into community life through inclusive activities.
• Work within Curlew services including residential or day settings.
