Job summary

Corlann seeks a part-time Community Facilitator for Curlew Adult Services (Boyle & Frenchpark). The role focuses on developing educational, social, vocational and personal development goals for people supported, acting as a key worker to increase community participation and independence.

Hours are 70 per fortnight with flexible site allocations across day/residential/respite or community settings. Salary scales apply; 39-hour week baseline and pro-rata for part-time.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 6 qualification relevant to the Social Care sector.
• Full clean manual Driving Licence; Class D1 licence may be required.
• Experience with intellectual disability/autism desirable; induction and training provided.
• Flexibility, teamwork, patience and a sense of humour.
• Fluency in verbal and written English; IT skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational, social, vocational, recreational and personal development goals for people supported.
• Fulfil a key worker role and develop active roles; increase participation in local communities.
