The role of Assistant Support Worker / Social Care Worker involves delivering high-quality care, supporting individuals to reach their goals, and working closely with the team to maintain professional relationships. A rewarding career awaits with ongoing training and progression.

Qualifications

• Assistant Support Worker: no formal qualification required; all necessary training provided.
• Social Care Worker: Level 7/8 degree in Social Care/Healthcare and CORU registration.
• Full Driver’s Licence required or in the process of obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Support people with their daily plan.
• Support people in the community.
• Support people with education, skills development and achieving personal outcomes.
• Assist with living skills: cooking, cleaning, laundry, appointments, family visits.
• Follow company policies, procedures, standards and codes of practice.
• Shift work over 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
