Corlann South East is seeking a dedicated Support Worker (Care Assistant) to join our team across South Tipperary, delivering personal care and day-to-day support in residential and day service settings. The role also focuses on helping people supported to implement Individual Plans and achieve outcomes, while promoting community participation and integration.

We offer permanent and temporary roles with flexible hours, sleepover pay, pension, training, progression opportunities, and sick pay

• Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

Support Worker (Care Assistant), South Tipperary (Dundrum, Golden, Cashel, Carrick-on-Suir, Newcastle, Thomastown)

The role of a Support Worker

Support Workers provide a key-working caring role for a group of People Supported by the Services. They are responsible for all aspects of personal care required during the day. This includes meals, personal hygiene and other related aspects of physical well-being. Secondly, a major focus of the Support Worker role is to assist and support People Supported by the Services with the development of their Individual Plans and achievement of associated outcomes. In addition, a critical component of this role is to support People Supported by the Services in community participation and integration.

• Support Worker – Permanent, Part Time (30 hours per fortnight minimum), working across the Nagle Services in both residential and day service settings in South Tipperary (Cashel/Carrick-on-Suir/Newcastle/Thomastown/Dundrum)
• Support Worker – Permanent, Full Time (78 hours per fortnight), Children’s Residential Service, Golden, Co. Tipperary
• Support Worker – Temporary, Full Time (78 hours per fortnight), Adult Residential Service, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary

• Competitive Rates of Pay (€34,881- €48,434 pro-rata)
