Job summary

St Christopher Services CLG in Longford is seeking a Support Worker for our Residential and Respite Service. The role is permanent part-time (30 hours per week on rolling roster) and includes live waking night duties or sleepovers, based in Longford.

We require at least FETAC Level 5 in Social Care or related discipline, experience with intellectual disability, and a full clean driving licence. Candidates should be committed to person-centered care and upholding our standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Social Care/Special Needs/Healthcare or related discipline.
• Experience working with persons with an Intellectual Disability.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive as part of role is essential.
• Competencies as per Job Description & Person Specification.

We are looking for a Support Worker within our Residential and Respite Service.The successful candidates will maintain the highest attainable standards of person-centered care, to promote optimum independence and choice, and to enhance the quality of life of the Service User in all aspects of daily living within a regulated framework.
