Corlann South East is seeking dedicated Support Workers for permanent part-time and full-time roles across Cashel, Cahir and Tipperary Town. Positions include day services and residential settings with flexible hours and competitive pay.

Support Worker (Care Assistant), South Tipperary (Cashel, Cahir, Tipperary Town)

Corlann South East are looking for bright, ambitious individuals who have a positive attitude towards working with people with an intellectual disability and who are committed to ensuring that our persons supported lead as fulfilling and enjoyable a life as possible. A panel may also be formed for Permanent and Temporary, Full Time and Part Time vacancies of the same grade within the Boherduff Services area.

• Support Worker – Permanent, Part Time (70 hours per fortnight), Adult Day Service (positions in Cashel, Cahir and Tipperary Town)
• Support Worker – Permanent, Part Time (60 hours per fortnight), Adult Day Service (Cashel)
• Support Worker – Permanent, Full Time (78 hours per fortnight), Adult Residential Service (Cahir)
• Support Worker – Permanent, Part Time (39 hours per fortnight), Adult Residential Service (positions in Cashel and Cahir)
• Support Worker – Temporary, Full Time (78 hours per fortnight), Adult Residential Service (Cashel)

The role of a Support Worker

Support Workers provide a key-working caring role for a group of People Supported by the Services. They are responsible for all aspects of personal care required during the day. This includes meals, personal hygiene and other related aspects of physical well-being. Secondly, a major focus of the Support Worker role is to assist and support People Supported by the Services with the development of their Individual Plans and achievement of associated outcomes. In addition, a critical component of this role is to support People Supported by the Services in community participation and integration.

• Competitive Rates of Pay (€34,881- €48,434 pro-rata)
