Job summary

Viatris in Dublin is seeking a Senior Supply Planner to manage demand and supply for key molecules across EU, Australia, New Zealand, and Emerging markets. You will firm plans, monitor supply chains, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain service levels.

The role requires proven supply chain experience, strong planning and analytical skills, and effective communication to drive changes in the organization. A data-driven mindset and SAP/Rapid Response familiarity are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update master data and planning parameters in Rapid Response and SAP to produce optimal supply plans.
• Monitor out-of-stock reasons and document actions to resolve stock issues per SKU.
• Firm market requirements based on planning parameters to minimize stockouts.
• Ensure firmed supply plans and purchase orders are executed on time by suppliers.
• Develop and execute supply plans around upstream constraints with internal guidelines.
• Manage bulk inventory across packaging sites ensuring no obsolescence and meeting market requirements.
• Coordinate supplier delivery dates and address issues to prevent delays.
• Align market inventory with agreed inventory strategies with senior leads.
• Determine shipment modes to minimize air transport and track reasons for air freight.
• Monitor month-to-month market demand changes and communicate drivers to stakeholders.
• Support department goals and objectives as required.

Based in Dublin reporting directly to Supply Chain Manager, the Senior Supply Planner is responsible for effectively managing demand and supply for commercially critical molecules for Global Markets and Global Supply Sites. The Senior Supply Planner is responsible for the inventory management and product supply from internal suppliers and working within a larger team of supply planners to service markets in the EU, Australia, New Zealand, and Emerging markets.

The Senior Supply Planner will be responsible for firming supply plans based on market requirements and in line with inventory strategies, monitoring system generated supply plans, avoiding, and minimizing any supply disruptions and maintaining service levels.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Maintain and update master data and planning parameters in Rapid Response and SAP for Rapid Response to produce best supply plan.
• Monitor and maintain reason codes for out of stocks and maintain commentary on actions plans to resolve the out of stock per SKU.
• Firm market requirements based on planning parameters (demand, safety stock, MOQ, etc) to minimize out of stocks.
• Ensure firmed supply plans/ purchase orders are executed on time by supplier.
• Develop and execute supply plans when there are upstream constraints in the supply chain (Materials, site capacities) along with internal guidelines to give each market the best supply plan.
• Manage bulk inventory in both internal and external packaging sites, making sure there is no bulk obsolescence, market requirements are met, and packaging sites meet all commitments.
• Agreeing and monitoring of suppliers’ delivery dates and escape where issues arise.
• Manage market inventory in line with inventory strategies as agreed with senior supply chain leads.
• Determine mode of transport for shipments in line with business strategy, minimise amount transported by air and to track and monitor reason for air.
• Monitor market demand changes within managed molecules month on month, recognizing the drivers for changes and if required, to be in position to explain changes to different stakeholders.
• Support and deliver company/department goals and objectives as required.

The minimum qualifications and experience for this role are:

• Proven relevant supply chain/manufacturing experience.
• Qualification in a Business-Related discipline or Supply Chain.
• Previous Rapid Response and/ or SAP experience a distinct advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office systems essential especially Microsoft Excel.
• Successful candidates must have strong planning & analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills. They will need to work on planning process development and roll out. Successful candidates need to be change leaders in Viatris.
