Job summary

Citco in Dublin is seeking an experienced funds operations professional to monitor daily deliverables, ensure alignment with client SLAs, and support new client and fund launches. You will proactively manage issues, escalate where needed, and drive process improvements to mitigate risk.

You will liaise with clients and internal teams, supervise staff, and apply strong MO knowledge across tools like ART, Lens, Xceptor and SP, while coaching others and promoting a collaborative risk-aware culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services; middle office experience essential.
• Degree qualified (BA, Masters or ACCA).
• Strong knowledge of MO functions and processes (ART, Lens, Xceptor, SP).
• Audit experience – internal and external a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review daily operational deliverables in line with client SLAs and best practice protocols.
• Support all new Client and Fund launches and migrations.
• Proactively act as main liaison with Clients and Internal and External stakeholders to drive results and deliverables.
• Focus on Operational Risk Log.
• Full accountability on issues raised and escalated by clients and internal departments.
• Work with clients to resolve open or escalated issues in a timely manner.
• Support Account Manager in reviewing current processes and rolling out new operational processes to improve efficiency and mitigate risk.
• Ensure staff adhere to Risk Policies and Best Practice Procedures and maintain risk awareness.

About the Team & Business Line:

Your Role:

• Monitoring and review of daily operational deliverables, ensuring they are in line with client service level agreements and that best practice protocols and a high standard of quality are consistently achieved.
• Support all new Client and Fund launches and migrations.
• Proactively act as main liaison with Clients and Internal and External stakeholders to drive results and deliverables.
• Focus on Operational Risk Log.
• Full accountability on issues raised and escalated by clients and Internal Departments
• Work enthusiastically with clients in a professional and timely manner to resolve any open or escalated issues.
• Support Account Manager in reviewing current processes and rolling out new operational processes with the goal of improving efficiency and mitigating risk.
• Ensure staff adhere to and have a full understanding of all Risk Policies and Best Practice Procedures and demonstrate continual risk awareness in all areas within our operational scope.
• Proactively fosters an interactive and collaborative team environment with own and other teams.
• Develop and maintain key relationships and support networks with other departments, in particular Fund Accounting and COEs.
• Provide training and coaching to new staff members.

About You:

• Highly client focused and driven to elite standards of Client Service.
• 5+ Years in Financial Services. Middle office experience essential.
• Degree qualified. ie. BA, Masters or ACCA.
• Proven interest in the financial markets and hedge fund industry.
• Strong financial instruments knowledge – OTCs, Fixed Income, loans, and derivatives product knowledge preferred.
• Experience with tight Client deadline.
• Audit experience – Internal and External CBI (a major plus).
• Expert knowledge of MO functions and processes, ie. ART, Lens, Xceptor, SP.
• Self-motivated; have an ability to take ownership for ad-hoc projects.
• Execution driven and excellent analytical/problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
• Supervisory and coaching skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks that focuses on the goals of the department and organization.
• Excellent communication skills.
