Job summary

Maxi Zoo Ireland Ltd is seeking a Supervisor for our Waterford store. You will lead the team, engage customers with tailored advice, and uphold a welcoming environment. This role requires prior supervisor experience and a genuine love for animals.

You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, maintain stock integrity, and promote a culture of excellent service for pets and their owners.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor or keyholder.
• Love for animals and a genuine passion for pets.
• Ability to tailor recommendations to each pet owner’s needs.
• Strong team spirit and inclusivity in a store environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers with personalised advice and maintain a welcoming store.
• Ensure shelves are stocked and inventory quality is high.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to guide the sales team as a keyholder.
• Help maintain store standards and support achievement of targets.

What you will bring:

• Previous experience as a Supervisor or keyholder.
• A genuine love for animals, someone whose heart lights up at the sight of a wagging tail or a purring companion.
• Passionate about making each customer's visit unforgettable, tailoring recommendations to meet the unique needs of every pet and their owner.

What you will do:

• Customer Engagement- Enrich customers' experiences with personalised advice and uphold a welcoming, tidy store atmosphere.
• Merchandising and Inventory- Curate an enticing shopping experience by ensuring shelves stocked with full product availability to minimise inventory discrepancies and maintain high inventory quality
• Team Champion- Collaborate closely with the Store Manager, inspire and guide the sales team as a trusted keyholder by sharing your product knowledge, fostering a culture of support and open communication.
• Band Integrity- Achieve targets keeping the pets needs at the forefront of everything we do.
