Job summary

Elite Talent Hub is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor for a long-established timber processing and green technology leader with sites across Ireland and the UK. Based in Longford, you will oversee the timber frame factory floor, maximise throughput and lead the shift team.

You will manage attendance, onboarding and performance, drive continuous improvement, ensure health and safety and quality controls, and coordinate with maintenance to resolve issues quickly, delivering right-first-time

Qualifications

• Experience within manufacturing or a production environment, ideally in a supervisory or senior operator capacity.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards and workflow management.
• Proven ability to coordinate teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience identifying and resolving operational or quality issues in real time.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a shift-based system and adapt to changing production demands.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety requirements.
• Ensure all work complies with quality control standards through regular checks and monitoring.
• Oversee the accuracy of documentation associated with production and loading.
• Promote a culture of right-first-time quality across the team.
• Liaise with maintenance to ensure tasks are completed and issues are resolved efficiently.

The business specialises in sustainable construction and timber frame manufacturing, and continues to grow through innovation, advanced production technology and a collaborative work culture.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards and workflow management.

• Ability to work a shift-based system and adapt to changing production demands.

Location: Longford, Ireland.

Salary: €45,000 DOE.
