Job summary

Arup Ireland is inviting talented students to join our team for a few months to work on real projects alongside experienced professionals in civil and structural engineering. You’ll design structural elements and learn from experts using industry tools and collaborative sessions.

You will gain hands-on experience with reinforced concrete, steel, timber and masonry, supported by learning sessions and social events throughout the placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (NFQ Level 8/9 or equivalent).
• Strong interest in sustainable development and innovative design.
• Ability to work with experienced engineers on real projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing structural elements in reinforced concrete, steel, timber or masonry.
• Undertake structural modelling using GSA, Tekla Structural Designer or similar tools.
• Collaborate with engineers to contribute to local projects and learn from experts.
