Job summary

Arup in Ireland offers a Bridges and Civil Structures Work placement as part of its Early Careers program. You will work with experienced bridge engineers to design bridges and civil structures in reinforced and prestressed concrete and steel, and you will undertake structural modelling using Sofistik, GSA or other structural software.

This placement is ideal for students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• Interest in bridges and civil structures and sustainable design.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a global practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing bridges and civil structures in concrete and steel.
