Job summary

AllSite Staffing is seeking an experienced Structural / CSA QS Estimator to join a growing engineering and construction business in Ireland. You will work on tendered cost estimates across industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects, reviewing drawings and BoQs with a focus on accuracy and value.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in estimating, quantity surveying or CSA commercial roles.
• Strong understanding of structural/construction methodologies.
• Experience in industrial, commercial or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and estimating software.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Tendering and procurement experience.
• Knowledge of Irish construction contracts/regulations.
• Cost planning and value engineering experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or project management software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for structural/CSA projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and prepare BoQs.
• Assess subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Support procurement and commercial evaluations.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients and subcontractors.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities during tender stages.
• Monitor project costs and support cost control initiatives.
• Assist with contract administration and project reporting.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Structural / CSA QS Estimator to join a well-established and growing engineering and construction business.

With a strong pipeline of industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects, this role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects while developing your career within a supportive and ambitious organisation.

As part of the commercial team, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of tenders and project cost management activities.

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for Structural and CSA projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation
• Carrying out quantity take-offs and preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
• Assessing subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Supporting procurement and commercial evaluations

What We're Looking For
