Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source Ltd in Co. Kildare is seeking a permanent Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates, manage project budgets and support commercial delivery from tender stage through to final account.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, experience in structural steel and proficiency with estimating software and Excel. Immediate start and attractive salary of €60,000 - €70,000 DOE offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related discipline.
• Experience in structural steel fabrication or construction sector preferred.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for structural steel projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine scope and pricing.
• Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare bills of quantities and cost plans.
• Monitor project costs and variations during the construction phase.
• Assist in contract administration and final account preparation.

A structural steel specialist is currently looking for a permanent Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates, manage project budgets, and support commercial delivery from tender stage through to final account, in Co.Kildare.
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: €60,000 - €70,000 per annum (DOE)
Contract: Permanent
