Job summary

Falcon Green is seeking an experienced CSA Estimator to join its Energy & Transmission & Distribution division in Ireland. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, architectural and structural works on high-value energy projects, ensuring competitive tenders and robust pricing aligned with project requirements.

You will collaborate with pre-construction, commercial and operational teams, analyze drawings, and develop take-offs and cost plans.

Qualifications

• Experience pricing large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• CSA Estimator or Civil Estimator background in civil engineering, utilities, energy or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of earthworks, reinforced concrete, structural steel, drainage, foundations.
• Experience pricing packages up to €50 million+.
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
• Proficient in estimating software and MS Office.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Detail-oriented and able to work to tight tender deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for CSA works across Energy & T&D projects.

• Identify risks, value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
• Prepare tender submissions, pricing schedules and supporting documentation.
• Assist with bid reviews, tender adjudications and client clarifications.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Support handover from pre-construction to delivery team after awards.

A leading engineering contractor is seeking an experienced CSA Estimator to join its expanding Energy & Transmission & Distribution (T&D) division in Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a specialist team delivering major energy infrastructure projects across the country. Working on civil packages valued at up to €50 million, you will play a key role in preparing competitive, accurate estimates that support the successful delivery of high-profile transmission and distribution projects.

As CSA Estimator, you will be responsible for producing detailed cost estimates for a range of civil engineering packages associated with energy infrastructure projects. Working closely with the pre-construction, commercial and operational teams, you'll ensure tenders are commercially competitive, technically robust and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural and architectural (CSA) works across Energy & T&D projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications and tender documentation to identify project scope and pricing requirements.
• Produce accurate take-offs, cost plans and bills of quantities.

Requirements:

• You'll be a commercially driven estimator with experience pricing large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience as a CSA Estimator, Civil Estimator or Senior Estimator within civil engineering, utilities, energy or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of earthworks, reinforced concrete, structural steel, drainage, foundations and associated civil works.
• Experience pricing projects ranging from several million euros through to packages of €50 million+.
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
• Strong knowledge of estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and commercial teams.
• A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight tender deadlines.
