Job summary

KPMG Ireland is seeking an Associate Director/Director within Strategy to lead client engagements, shape corporate strategy, and drive growth across key sectors. You will guide both local and international projects, coordinating research, analysis, and compelling storytelling for executive audiences.

You will build new business through networking and stakeholder engagement while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid Dublin 2 environment.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years total career experience.
• Experience in the consulting sector in a managerial role.
• Specialist knowledge in priority sectors such as aviation, data centres & the built environment, HLS, food, consumer & retail.
• A track record in selling consultancy or M&A advisory services.
• Evidence of concise and visually appealing written communication style.
• Strong presentation skills, confidently handling Q&A.
• Ability to proactively manage upwards within an organisation.
• Combining responsiveness with attention to detail and an ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Track record of quickly adapting to new challenges on a regular basis.
• Excellent supporting academics – university backgrounds in engineering, economics, history and social sciences particularly welcome

Responsibilities

• Assist local and international businesses with corporate strategy definition.
• Play an active role across all parts of project delivery, from project planning, problem framing, hypothesising, storyboarding, research, quantitative analysis, identifying insights, write-up and presentation.
• Be a self-starter, driving progress of projects and rapidly iterating content through testing with internal stakeholders.
• In particular, actively engage in business development and networking and identify and pursue sales opportunities in your core sector(s)
