Job summary

Sysco Ireland is seeking a proactive Supply Planner to ensure product availability in the distribution system and support the commercial strategy. You will balance forecasts, current stock, and supplier lead times to minimise shortages and overstock while working closely with suppliers on lead times and service levels.

The role requires strong numerical and analytical skills, excellent organisation and communication, and a collaborative approach with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate ordering of product to support sales and mitigate waste by balancing demand forecasts, current stock levels, and supplier lead times to minimise shortages and overstock.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure contract compliance and adherence to lead times, service levels, and delivery accuracy.
• Support Stock Level KPIs by actively managing DSO, identifying risks early, and taking corrective action to protect availability while avoiding excess.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure effective communication and rapid issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate MRP master data and stocking policies aligned with demand patterns and financial objectives.
