Job summary

Stryker in Cork, Ireland is seeking a Supply Planning Manager to lead the supply planning function in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring the right products and materials are available on time while balancing customer demand, inventory, capacity and cost.

You will work closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, IOM, Warehousing and Commercial teams to develop robust supply plans, manage risks and drive continuous improvement. A first line management mindset is desirable.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in supply planning or a similar manufacturing supply chain role.
• Experience leading or developing a planning team.
• Strong understanding of MRP, ERP, inventory and S&OP/IBP processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of supply and production plans in line with demand, capacity and inventory requirements.
• Manage and develop the Supply Planning team, ensuring clear priorities and performance.
• Identify and proactively manage material shortages, capacity constraints and supply risks.
• Provide clear communication and escalation of supply risks to senior stakeholders.
• Optimize inventory levels while maintaining agreed customer service targets.
• Lead or support the S&OP/IBP process with clear analysis of supply, capacity and inventory needs.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Procurement to ensure production and material availability.
• Monitor key supply chain KPIs and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Identify and deliver improvements to planning processes, systems and ways of working.
• Ensure effective use of ERP/MRP systems and accurate planning data.
