Job summary

Sysco Ireland is seeking a Demand Planner to ensure product availability across distribution channels and to support the commercial strategy and customer service goals.

You will forecast demand to reduce excess stock while maximising availability, manage replenishment with suppliers, and analyse sales data to drive profitability. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems like AX and MRP is advantageous; weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• To ensure accurate ordering of product to support sales.
• Forecast to reduce excess stock while maximising availability.
• Ensure product support documentation is received to support delivery.
• To improve profitability within the department on excess stock and dumping.
• Work with suppliers to ensure product supply is effective.
• Assist in ensuring the Replenishment Department meets and exceeds targets.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Interpret sales reports and data and use this information to minimise markdowns and overstocks.
