Job summary

Primark Stores Limited is seeking a senior leader to own the Space Optimisation function, defining a best-in-class, end-to-end strategy that links space to commercial outcomes across the store estate.

You will lead data-driven capabilities, including a central Space Optimisation Model, and align CAD, planning and analytics with merchandising, retail and store development to maximise ROI and growth.

• Senior leadership experience in retail space optimisation.
• Strong commercial acumen to drive sales and margins via space.
• Highly data-driven with ability to translate insights into actions.
• Strategic and operational capability to set direction and deliver.
• Excellent stakeholder management at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the Space Optimisation strategy, driving sales, margin, and store productivity.
• Act as strategic partner to senior stakeholders across Retail, Merchandising, Buying and Property.
• Own the end-to-end space optimisation framework and governance across all activity.
• Lead space optimisation for new stores and refits, including layouts and adjacencies.
• Develop and adopt a centralised Space Optimisation Model for data-driven decisions.
• Oversee CAD and planning across the estate to improve accuracy and execution.
