Job summary

CPL Group in Athlone is seeking a Property Acquisition & Development Executive to lead the identification, assessment and acquisition of strategic land and property assets that support regional development and investment across Ireland. You will drive the full property lifecycle, from site identification and due diligence through to acquisition and delivery, within a high-performing team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in property acquisition, development, planning or asset management processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent project management and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess land and property acquisition opportunities.
  • Conduct market analysis and evaluate development potential.
  • Manage due diligence processes including planning, legal, environmental and valuation assessments.
  • Coordinate external advisors (valuers, planners, engineers, surveyors, solicitors).
  • Prepare business cases, financial appraisals and acquisition recommendations.
  • Negotiate purchase agreements, leases and other property transactions.
  • Build relationships with landowners, developers, authorities and stakeholders.
  • Manage project risks, budgets, timelines and governance.
