Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions are seeking an organised and proactive Project Planner / Resource Coordinator to join an established Electrical Services company based in Bandon, Cork.

This role is responsible for coordinating labour, resources and project schedules across multiple electrical, industrial, commercial and maintenance projects, ensuring plans are realistic and communicated clearly to office and site teams.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with planning, scheduling and project management systems.
• Practical understanding of construction project progression from mobilisation to completion.
• Construction or trade background desirable.
• Experience in construction, engineering, electrical contracting or project coordination an advantage.
• Proactive approach with ability to follow up on actions and keep projects moving.
• Ability to work with both office-based and site-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate labour and resources across multiple projects.
• Maintain and update the company Master Plan, project schedules and planning boards.
• Prepare and maintain a 3-week labour and resource outlook.
• Develop and maintain short-term look-ahead programmes.
• Work closely with Contracts Managers and site teams to understand progress and upcoming requirements.
• Track project status, milestones and programme dates.
• Identify potential resource clashes, delays and constraints.
• Coordinate materials, subcontractors and other project requirements.
• Liaise with site teams, suppliers and clients as required.
• Help ensure information is communicated clearly between the office and site teams.
• Support the successful delivery of projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Assist with improving and standardising the company's planning and scheduling processes.
