Job summary

The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) is recruiting a Project Manager on a three-year fixed-term contract to join its Corporate Services Division. Working closely with senior management, business leads and external partners, the successful candidate will help translate strategic priorities into successful outcomes through effective planning, governance and delivery.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum NFQ Level 8 qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Have a minimum of five years’ relevant experience leading and delivering complex projects or programmes involving multiple stakeholders and significant organisational impact.
• Have a proven track record of establishing effective project governance arrangements, including planning, reporting, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the delivery of significant organisational projects and transformation initiatives.
• Establish and maintain effective project governance, planning, reporting and risk management arrangements.
• Provide strategic leadership for organisational change initiatives, ensuring that change impacts, stakeholder engagement, communications, governance arrangements, capability development, and benefits realisation activities are planned and managed effectively to achieve successful adoption and sustainable outcomes.
• Support senior decision-making through the provision of high-quality project information, analysis and reporting.
• Ensure a strong focus on outcomes, benefits realisation and continuous improvement.
• Introduce and embed project management methodology and best practice and contribute to strengthening organisational project delivery capability.
