You will develop purchasing strategies, negotiate high‑value contracts, and drive supplier partnerships, rebates, and structured payment terms to secure best‑in‑market pricing. The role includes international sourcing and mastering price lists to support resilience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategic procurement or purchasing management.
• Strong commercial acumen with cost-saving achievements.
• Experience negotiating high-value contracts and international sourcing.
• Leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret spend data.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Purchasing Department to deliver strategic, measurable cost efficiencies.
• Secure improved rates through discount agreements, rebates, and payment terms.
• Drive a Master Price List to ensure best-market pricing and consistency.
• Target suppliers to consolidate spend and leverage group purchasing power.
• Review and optimise global supply categories to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Deliver international procurement initiatives targeting spend outside Ireland with cost reductions.
• Strengthen supplier partnerships while maintaining market tension.
• Implement data-driven cost-saving strategies aligned with financial targets.
