Job summary

Davy in Dublin is seeking a PMO Business Analyst for an 18-month fixed-term contract. The role sits in the central PMO and supports project delivery, governance, and data‑driven decision‑making on multiple initiatives.

This on‑site position offers a clear path to influence change within a leading financial services firm. You translate business needs into requirements, map processes, and produce dashboards and insights, while engaging stakeholders and assisting with planning, RAID, and UAT

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements and process flows.
• Experience working in project or PMO environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Highly organised with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience within a central PMO or portfolio function.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA or Power BI.
• Exposure to regulatory or risk‑related change initiatives.
• Knowledge of project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Project Managers and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into high‑quality business requirements and user stories.
• Map and analyse existing business processes to identify opportunities for simplification and standardisation.
• Support PMO continuous improvement initiatives, including enhancements to delivery frameworks, reporting, and governance.
• Produce high quality reports and dashboards to provide management insights.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements sessions with business teams and senior stakeholders.
• Prepare business documentation including requirements, process maps, and operating models.
• Assist Project Managers with planning, RAID management, and governance preparation.
• Support change readiness by contributing to training materials, procedures, and communications.
• Participate in UAT coordination and business-side testing support.
• Ensure alignment of requirements and documentation with internal controls and regulatory expectations.
