Job summary

Elwood Roberts in Dublin is seeking a Business Analyst for Data Governance on a 12-month contract, hybrid in North Dublin. The role combines business analysis with governance and data quality responsibilities, reporting to the Data Governance Lead.

You will gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and translate needs into actionable specs while liaising with Data & Analytics, Technology, Finance and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Must have proven BA experience in data, analytics, governance or technology environments.
• Hands-on with Data Governance and Data Quality programmes – mandatory.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder sessions.
• Knowledge of data catalogue/metadata platforms (Atlan, Collibra, Purview).
• Strong analytical, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
• Experience with Data Access Management processes is a plus.
• Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Snowflake or Databricks.

• Define requirements and bridge business stakeholders with technical teams.
• Improve data governance and data quality processes across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics, Technology, and Finance teams to deliver solutions.
• Support governance initiatives and drive stakeholder engagement.
• Work in an Agile delivery environment to deliver measurable outcomes.
