Job summary

Davy is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Data and Analytics Team in Ireland. The role is hands-on, focusing on data analysis, data product ownership and quantitative modelling to support portfolio construction and performance analysis, including ownership from requirements to delivery.

You will work with investment teams, data engineering, and third-party data providers to build scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and insights applicable to portfolio decisions and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years' experience in data analytics.
• Strong analytical capability with performance attribution, portfolio analytics or risk modelling.
• Proficiency in Python for financial data analysis and modelling.
• Advanced SQL skills and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Knowledge of financial instruments and data structures.

Responsibilities

• Operate within the Data & Analytics function supporting portfolio management, investment research and risk teams.
• Design and develop scalable data solutions with data engineers; manage analytical backlogs in Agile.
• Translate business requirements into analytical and data solutions for investment decisions.
• Develop analytical models and insights to support portfolio performance and attribution analysis.
• Build dashboards and reporting outputs for investment, risk and senior stakeholders.
